The project, spanning 4 months from design to installation and commissioning, covers three core processes: pre-treatment, powder spraying, and curing, and is now in full production.
The core challenge was the large size, complex shapes, and high throughput requirements of agricultural machinery components. EMT's engineering team created a customized design: a large overhead conveyor system capable of handling workpieces up to 500 kg; multi-stage spray pre-treatment ensuring thorough cleaning of every corner of large components; and a powder booth equipped with 8 automatic guns and 2 manual touch-up guns for complete coverage of complex surfaces.
Post-commissioning data is impressive: daily workpiece throughput increased from 40 to 160 pieces—a 4x productivity gain. Coating pass rate improved from 85% to over 98%, with powder utilization reaching 95%. The client reports that the new coating line has significantly improved product appearance quality and corrosion resistance while reducing per-unit coating costs by approximately 35%.
