Curing Oven Operating Principle & Solution
The curing oven is the core equipment in powder coating lines. It works by heating powder coatings sprayed on workpiece surfaces to melt, level, and crosslink-cure into uniform dense coatings. EMT curing ovens use hot air circulation heating with temperature uniformity within ±5°C. The combustion system converts gas or electricity into heat, distributed evenly by high-efficiency circulation fans. Workpieces travel through the heating zone on conveyors, where powder coatings undergo melting → leveling → crosslink curing at 180-220°C, forming smooth, durable coatings. The oven body uses quality rock wool insulation for minimal heat loss and low energy consumption.
