Steel Medical Door
Steel medical door is a specialized clean door designed for hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical workshops and other healthcare facilities. Built upon standard clean door features with added anti-collision, antibacterial, and disinfectant-resistant functions to meet the special hygiene, safety and durability requirements of medical environments.
Product Principle
EMT steel medical doors use 1.2mm high-quality cold-rolled steel door leaves filled with flame-retardant rock wool, with leaf thickness of 40-50mm for high overall strength and good sound insulation. The lower portion features a 300mm stainless steel anti-collision plate to prevent damage from carts and wheelchairs. The door surface uses antibacterial powder coating that effectively inhibits common pathogens including E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The door frame features rounded corner design to prevent dust accumulation and bacterial growth, facilitating daily cleaning and disinfection. Standard observation windows (tempered glass) allow medical staff to observe room conditions. Optional touchless opening devices include electric door closers, foot pedal switches, and elbow switches to reduce cross-infection risks. Colors can be customized to match hospital department identification systems.
