Filter Cartridge Booth Operating Principle & Solution
The filter cartridge booth uses filter cartridge technology for powder recovery. Oversprayed powder not adhering to workpieces is drawn by negative pressure into the filter zone at the bottom or sides, where high-precision cartridges (filtration accuracy ≤1μm) capture powder on their surfaces while clean air passes through. Accumulated powder is periodically removed by automatic pulse blowback systems into recovery bins for reuse. EMT filter booths are especially suited for frequent color changes, with changeover time of 15-30 minutes and powder recovery rate ≥97%. Interior walls use smooth PP or stainless steel panels that resist powder adhesion and are easy to clean.
